1Beloved people of Victoria, concerning light and darkness, hold fast to faithfulness. Let none turn the trial appointed for its season into a cause for boasting, but serve one another in peace.
2Let the villagers be steadfast in remembrance, especially in the day of the fog; for the covenant is proved not in ease, but in the care of one neighbor for another.
