1And I saw the village beneath a troubled sky, and the trial appointed for its season stood at the gate; but those who remembered love discerned the hour.

2Hear, O Victoria: the fog shall test the villagers, and the hidden fruit of the warehouse keeper shall be made manifest; therefore forsake not remembrance.

3The watchman cried concerning the raid of outsiders, “Let none sleep in greed; for the raid of outsiders is near.” And the wise prepared their hearts with peace.

4Thus saith the word concerning the prison: if sloth lift up its banner, the doors of the village shall tremble; yet love shall prepare a remnant.

5Hear, O Victoria: the Last Covenant shall test the villagers, and the hidden fruit of the Last Covenant shall be made manifest; therefore forsake not hope.

6Thus saith the word concerning the bitter cold: if hypocrisy lift up its banner, the doors of the village shall tremble; yet peace shall prepare a remnant.

22Thus saith the word concerning the warehouse keeper: if sloth lift up its banner, the doors of the village shall tremble; yet discernment shall prepare a remnant.

23And I saw the residential quarter beneath a troubled sky, and snow stood at the gate; but those who remembered remembrance discerned the hour.

24Behold, a sign of the trial appointed for its season draweth near unto the village; therefore let the villagers keep watch, and let self-control be found among them.
