1Beloved people of Victoria, concerning day and night, hold fast to remembrance. Let none turn the trial appointed for its season into a cause for boasting, but serve one another in peace.
2Concerning natural migration, be of one mind: resist forgetfulness, guard the homes of the people, and let every gift be used for the good of the whole village.
3Brethren and sisters, remember day and night; for faith without justice is an empty sound, and abundance without mercy is a locked storehouse.
4I write unto you concerning the village: when the trial appointed for its season cometh, let the villagers not accuse one another hastily; rather put on loyalty and cast away hardness of heart.
5Let the woodcutters be steadfast in justice, especially in the day of the trial appointed for its season; for the covenant is proved not in ease, but in the care of one neighbor for another.
