1The watchman cried concerning the sea and the land, “Let none sleep in mockery; for the trial appointed for its season is near.” And the wise prepared their hearts with remembrance.
2Hear, O Victoria: the trial appointed for its season shall test the villagers, and the hidden fruit of divine power shall be made manifest; therefore forsake not hospitality.
3The watchman cried concerning the farm, “Let none sleep in greed; for snow is near.” And the wise prepared their hearts with courage.
4Hear, O Victoria: the trial appointed for its season shall test the police, and the hidden fruit of the sea and the land shall be made manifest; therefore forsake not peace.
5Thus saith the word concerning the sea and the land: if hoarding lift up its banner, the doors of the village shall tremble; yet love shall prepare a remnant.

26Behold, a sign of drought draweth near unto the village; therefore let the villagers keep watch, and let remembrance be found among them.
