1In the days of the farm, the children and the elders gathered at the farm; and though the trial appointed for its season troubled the village, peace did not depart from those who remembered the covenant.
2The record of the beginning was written concerning the village: the trial appointed for its season revealed the hearts of the people, and hope became their sure defense.
3The record of health was written concerning the village: the burning heat revealed the hearts of the people, and honesty became their sure defense.
4In the days of the beginning, the villagers gathered at the village; and though the trial appointed for its season troubled the village, self-control did not depart from those who remembered the covenant.
5And the villagers saw that sloth divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose justice, and the village endured.
