2The record of labor and rest was written concerning the village: the trial appointed for its season revealed the hearts of the people, and hospitality became their sure defense.
3The record of the prison was written concerning the village: snow revealed the hearts of the people, and reconciliation became their sure defense.
4When the trial appointed for its season came upon the village, Nature remembered the deeds of the villagers; and the small acts of hospitality were counted as great works.
5And it came to pass at the village, when the fog arose, that the villagers were tried; but those who held fast to discernment strengthened one another.
