1Let the villagers be steadfast in hospitality, especially in the day of the trial appointed for its season; for the covenant is proved not in ease, but in the care of one neighbor for another.
2Brethren and sisters, remember light and darkness; for faith without thanksgiving is an empty sound, and abundance without mercy is a locked storehouse.
