1Thus was the small shrine established in Victoria: the trial appointed for its season came near unto the small shrine, yet those who walked in patience were not forsaken.
2Now Nature said unto the villagers, “Remember the small shrine; let not the trial appointed for its season turn your hearts from hospitality.” And they kept the saying in their memory.
3In those days the villagers beheld the small shrine; and Nature taught them that hope is greater than abundance, and that envy maketh even a full house poor.
4And concerning the reservoir, Nature looked upon the reservoir, and set remembrance among the people of Victoria, that the covenant might not fail.
