1The record of light and darkness was written concerning the homes of the people: the trial appointed for its season revealed the hearts of the people, and remembrance became their sure defense.
2And it came to pass at the lumberyard, when the trial appointed for its season arose, that the quarry workers were tried; but those who held fast to loyalty strengthened one another.
3And the villagers saw that envy divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose remembrance, and the village endured.
4When the great rain came upon the village, Nature remembered the deeds of the villagers; and the small acts of hospitality were counted as great works.
5In the days of light and darkness, the villagers gathered at the village; and though the trial appointed for its season troubled the village, loyalty did not depart from those who remembered the covenant.
6And it came to pass at the village, when the trial appointed for its season arose, that the villagers were tried; but those who held fast to hospitality strengthened one another.
