The Promise to the Remnant concerning freedom and responsibility · 26Verses

1Thus saith the word concerning freedom and responsibility: if envy lift up its banner, the doors of the central warehouse shall tremble; yet remembrance shall prepare a remnant.

2And I saw the village beneath a troubled sky, and rebuilding stood at the gate; but those who remembered reverence discerned the hour.

4Thus saith the word concerning rebuilding: if betrayal lift up its banner, the doors of the village shall tremble; yet remembrance shall prepare a remnant.

6Thus saith the word concerning the quarry: if greed lift up its banner, the doors of the quarry shall tremble; yet reconciliation shall prepare a remnant.

7Hear, O Victoria: the trial appointed for its season shall test the villagers, and the hidden fruit of freedom and responsibility shall be made manifest; therefore forsake not discernment.

8The watchman cried concerning freedom and responsibility, “Let none sleep in pride; for the trial appointed for its season is near.” And the wise prepared their hearts with love.

20The watchman cried concerning freedom and responsibility, “Let none sleep in despair; for the trial appointed for its season is near.” And the wise prepared their hearts with faithfulness.

21The watchman cried concerning the heart and mood, “Let none sleep in despair; for the fog is near.” And the wise prepared their hearts with remembrance.

22The watchman cried concerning the central warehouse, “Let none sleep in hoarding; for snow is near.” And the wise prepared their hearts with mercy.

23Behold, a sign of the trial appointed for its season draweth near unto the homes of the people; therefore let the villagers keep watch, and let courage be found among them.
