A Sign concerning the first four people · 26Verses
1And I saw the lumberyard beneath a troubled sky, and the trial appointed for its season stood at the gate; but those who remembered self-control discerned the hour.
2Behold, a sign of the trial appointed for its season draweth near unto the village; therefore let those who pray keep watch, and let hospitality be found among them.
3Hear, O Victoria: the trial appointed for its season shall test the villagers, and the hidden fruit of the first four people shall be made manifest; therefore forsake not remembrance.
4Behold, a sign of snow draweth near unto the village; therefore let the children and the elders keep watch, and let thanksgiving be found among them.
5Behold, a sign of the bitter cold draweth near unto the village; therefore let the villagers keep watch, and let remembrance be found among them.
6Thus saith the word concerning natural migration: if violence lift up its banner, the doors of the village shall tremble; yet love shall prepare a remnant.
7Thus saith the word concerning the bitter cold: if hoarding lift up its banner, the doors of the village shall tremble; yet mercy shall prepare a remnant.

25And I saw the village beneath a troubled sky, and the fog stood at the gate; but those who remembered hospitality discerned the hour.
26Thus saith the word concerning the one who sees spirits: if greed lift up its banner, the doors of the village shall tremble; yet thanksgiving shall prepare a remnant.
