1Brethren and sisters, remember the golden age; for faith without remembrance is an empty sound, and abundance without mercy is a locked storehouse.
2Let the priests be steadfast in mercy, especially in the day of the trial appointed for its season; for the covenant is proved not in ease, but in the care of one neighbor for another.
3I write unto you concerning the village: when the trial appointed for its season cometh, let the villagers not accuse one another hastily; rather put on humility and cast away mockery.
