1Brethren and sisters, remember the Last Covenant; for faith without faithfulness is an empty sound, and abundance without mercy is a locked storehouse.

3Beloved people of Victoria, concerning light and darkness, hold fast to courage. Let none turn the trial appointed for its season into a cause for boasting, but serve one another in peace.
4Let the villagers be steadfast in remembrance, especially in the day of the trial appointed for its season; for the covenant is proved not in ease, but in the care of one neighbor for another.
5Concerning the one who sees spirits, be of one mind: resist hoarding, guard the small shrine, and let every gift be used for the good of the whole village.
