1Brethren and sisters, remember the sea and the land; for faith without love is an empty sound, and abundance without mercy is a locked storehouse.
2I write unto you concerning the village: when the trial appointed for its season cometh, let the villagers not accuse one another hastily; rather put on hope and cast away falsehood.
3Concerning the sea and the land, be of one mind: resist betrayal, guard the village, and let every gift be used for the good of the whole village.
