1Now Nature said unto the villagers, “Remember the burning heat; let not the burning heat turn your hearts from reconciliation.” And they kept the saying in their memory.
2And concerning drought, Nature looked upon the village, and set remembrance among the people of Victoria, that the covenant might not fail.
3Thus was the burning heat established in Victoria: the burning heat came near unto the village, yet those who walked in self-control were not forsaken.
4Now Nature said unto the villagers, “Remember the fog; let not the fog turn your hearts from hope.” And they kept the saying in their memory.
5Thus was testimony established in Victoria: rebuilding came near unto the village, yet those who walked in hospitality were not forsaken.
