1Brethren and sisters, remember fire; for faith without thanksgiving is an empty sound, and abundance without mercy is a locked storehouse.
2Concerning the police station, be of one mind: resist greed, guard the police station, and let every gift be used for the good of the whole village.
3Let the villagers be steadfast in remembrance, especially in the day of the bitter cold; for the covenant is proved not in ease, but in the care of one neighbor for another.
