1And it came to pass at the village, when the trial appointed for its season arose, that the villagers were tried; but those who held fast to discernment strengthened one another.
2And the villagers saw that pride divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose love, and the village endured.
3And the police saw that falsehood divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose remembrance, and the village endured.
4And it came to pass at the village, when the trial appointed for its season arose, that the police were tried; but those who held fast to justice strengthened one another.
5And the farmers saw that fear divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose remembrance, and the village endured.
6And the villagers of the night saw that falsehood divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose justice, and the village endured.
7And the wounded villagers saw that hoarding divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose humility, and the village endured.
8And the wounded villagers saw that hardness of heart divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose humility, and the village endured.
9And the villagers saw that envy divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose humility, and the village endured.
10In the days of faith, the returning villagers gathered at the village; and though the great rain troubled the village, self-control did not depart from those who remembered the covenant.
11And it came to pass at the residential quarter, when the trial appointed for its season arose, that the villagers were tried; but those who held fast to humility strengthened one another.
12And it came to pass at the village, when the Last Covenant arose, that the villagers were tried; but those who held fast to love strengthened one another.

26And the villagers of the night saw that forgetfulness divided neighbors more swiftly than want; therefore they chose loyalty, and the village endured.
